Team Xarabi
About
The name Xarabi has its inspiration from 'Sarabi', queen of the Pride Lands, mate of Mufasa and the loving mother of Simba. Like the Lion Queen, Xarabi tries to the best of her ability to take care of the young pride of lions sailing her, even though it is extremely challenging at times.
The Xarabi team is based out of Oslo, Norway and had its first season together in 2016. The team is a mix of experienced sailors and eager rookies who had their first competitive sailing season. What Xarabi lack in racing experience, the team make up in their structured approach to sailing, continuous effort to improve and team work.
The 2016 season for Xarabi ended early after getting T-boned in the 2017 X-35 OD World Championship. The team is now hungry for their comeback, and maybe a wild card for the 2018 World Championship.
